    Erik Stefan Lindfors, known as Stefan Lindfors (born 3 May 1962, Mariehamn) is a Finnish industrial designer, interior designer, film-maker and sculptor. He attended high school at the Åbo Cathedral School in Turku in 1982, and then went on to study design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki, completing his studies in 1988.

    Marita Liulia (born October 27, 1957 in Perho, Finland) is a visual artist working primarily in interactive multimedia. Her debut CD-ROM Maire (1994) was among the very first works of art published in this format in the world. Her production includes multi-platform media artworks, photography, paintings, short films, books and stage performances. Her works have been exhibited and performed in 50 countries and she has received numerous international awards. Liulia first became interested in photography, painting, experimental film and cultural history while studying at Savonlinna Upper Secondary School of Art and Music. She continued her artistic studies at the University of Art and Design Helsinki, and broadened her horizons also by studying aesthetics, literature and political history at the University of Helsinki, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1986.

    Timo Tapani Sarpaneva (31 October 1926 – 6 October 2006) was an influential Finnish designer, sculptor, and educator best known in the art world for innovative work in glass, which often merged attributes of display art objects with utilitarian designations. While glass remained his most commonly addressed medium, he worked with metal, wood, textiles, and porcelain (china). Sarpaneva has entered homes around the world through his industrial design of upscale, artistically conceived items, including cast-iron cookware and porcelain dinnerware. His work was among the key components that helped to launch Finland's reputation as a trailblazer of design.

    Marjatta Metsovaara (1927–2014) was a Finnish textile artist. After graduating from the Finnish School of Art and Design in 1949, she went on to design colourful printed and woven fabrics for a variety of textile producers in Finland and beyond. Based in Urala, she established her own weaving factory Metsovaara Oy which she ran until 1980. In parallel, with her second husband Albert Van Havere she developed a weaving mill in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, where fabrics were produced for the furniture industry. Her creations included fashion fabrics, upholstery, table cloths, carpets and curtains. In 1970 Metsovaara was honoured with the Pro Finlandia Medal.
