Nazia Hassan (April 3, 1965 – August 13, 2000) was a Pakistani singer-songwriter, lawyer and social activist. Referred to as the "Queen of Pop" in South Asia, she began her music career at the age of 10, and went on to become one of the most prominent singers across South and Southeast Asia. She, along with her brother, Zoheb Hassan, went on to sell over 65 million records worldwide.
