Lisa Wilkinson AM is an Australian television presenter and journalist.

Jennifer Victoria Byrne (born 5 March 1955) is an Australian journalist, television presenter and former book publisher. She currently hosts the monthly ABC television program First Tuesday Book Club, later renamed The Book Club.

Kate Webb (24 March 1943 – 13 May 2007) was a New Zealand-born Australian war correspondent for UPI and Agence France-Presse. She earned a reputation for dogged and fearless reporting throughout the Vietnam War, and at one point she was held prisoner for weeks by North Vietnamese troops. After the war, she continued to report from global hotspots including Iraq during the Gulf War.

Jennifer Hocking (1929–2011) was an Australian-born British-based fashion model in the 1950s and early 1960s, who then became fashion editor of Harper's Bazaar and Queen. Whilst there, she gave Anna Wintour her first magazine job. Hocking then pursued fashion design, before rediscovering success as a mature model in the 1990s, when she was described as a "grande dame" after her appearance in Mario Testino's shoots for Burberry.

Deborah Richards is an Australian journalist, of English descent from the Edwards family. Richards has worked for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Essential Viewing Group, and Special Broadcasting Service.

Prudence Gai MacSween is an Australian television and radio personality, journalist, social commentator and public relations director. She is the public relations director of Verve Communications, and as a media commentator, MacSween has made a number of controversial comments.

Margaret Mary Jones (8 October 1923 – 30 July 2006) was an Australian journalist, noted for being one of the first accredited to China after the Cultural Revolution, and first female Foreign Editor on any Australian newspaper. Described as a "trailblazer for women journalists", she wrote for John Fairfax Limited for a total of thirty-three years.

Kathryn Anne McClymont AM is a journalist who writes for The Sydney Morning Herald. Notable for exposing corruption in politics, trade unions, sport, and horse racing, she has received death threats because of her exposés. She has won many awards for her reporting, including the 2002 Gold Walkley Award for her work on the Canterbury Bulldogs salary cap breaches. She is best known for her series of articles and book about New South Wales Labor Party politician Eddie Obeid.

Jennifer Hansen is an Australian journalist, a former news presenter on Network 10's Ten News in Melbourne. Since 2014 she has co-hosted the morning show on radio station smoothfm.

Sonya Voumard is an Australian writer and lecturer who has taught non-fiction for many years at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and most recently at Southern Cross University. Voumard has published one work of fiction (2008), two book length works of non-fiction and several articles for Australian newspapers, magazines and literary journals. Prior to academia, Voumard spent over 20 years as a journalist working for major newspapers and magazines in Australia such as; The Sydney Morning Herald and The Melbourne Age. Voumard's academic articles have also been published in Meanjin, Griffith Review and Island.
