Rick and Morty – The Rickoning is a graphic novel, written by Kyle Starks and illustrated by Marc Ellerby, which was released in five parts throughout 2019 and 2020 by Oni Press, as the twelfth and final volume of the first comic series based on the television series of the same name by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. Part One was released on November 27, 2019, Part Two was released on December 18, 2019, Part Three was released on January 29, 2020, Part Four was released on February 26, 2020, and Part Five was released on March 25, 2020. The volume's backup stories were written by Terry Blas and illustrated by Benjamin Dewey.

Banned Book Club is a fictionalized biographical graphic novel by Kim Hyun Sook and Ryan Estrada that depicts Kim's college experience in South Korea during the Fifth Republic. The title is a reference to the secret student club at her university where she read underground literature. The book was fictionalized to protect the people in the story.

Paul Is Dead is an alternate history graphic novel written by Paolo Barron and drawn by Ernesto Carbonetti. It was translated from Italian and published in English by Image Comics in a single volume on 3 June 2020.

Rick and Morty Go to Hell is a limited series graphic novel, written by Ryan Ferrier, illustrated by Constanza Orozo, and colored by Sarah Stern, which was published in five parts in 2020 by Oni Press, as an epilogue to The Rickoning, the twelfth and final volume of the first ongoing comic series based on the franchise by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, while also serving as an alternate reality sequel to the television series episode "Something Ricked This Way Comes" by Mike McMahan. Tonally described as "Dante's Inferno meets Office Space", Part One was released on April 29; Part Two was released on May 27; Part Three was released on June 24; Part Four was released on September 23; and Part Five was released on October 21 (all in 2020). The series' demonic visions of Rick and Morty were later made available as playable characters in the free-to-play role-playing video game Pocket Mortys.

Révolution is a series of comic books by Florent Grouazel and Younn Locard dealing with the events of the French Revolution. The two authors are both writers and artists for the series. The series is planned to have 1000 pages.

XX is a 2020 science fiction novel by writer Rian Hughes.

Flamer is a semi-autobiographical graphic novel by Mike Curato. It is set in 1995, in a Boy Scouts summer camp, and tells the story of Aiden, who is bullied for his appearance, including acting in a manner considered stereotypical of gay men. Curato was a scout and used his experience as a closeted teenager to write the novel.

Grateful Dead Origins is a graphic novel about the rock band the Grateful Dead. A work of non-fiction, it tells the story of the early days of the band and how it emerged as part of the San Francisco music scene amid the counterculture of the 1960s. The book was written by Chris Miskiewicz and drawn by Noah Van Sciver. It was edited by David Lemieux, colored by Aladdin Collar, and designed by Tyler Boss.

Long Way Down is a young adult supernatural drama novel in verse by Jason Reynolds, published October 24, 2017, by Atheneum Books. The book was longlisted for the National Book Award and was named a Printz Honor Book, Coretta Scott King Honor Book, and Newbery Medal Honor Book, alongside other awards and positive reviews.
