2013 in curling

The 2013 European Masters were held from April 17 to 20 at the Sports Center Lerchenfeld in St. Gallen, Switzerland as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. It was the final event on the Curling Champions Tour (CCT) of Europe, and featured the top teams from the CCT rankings.

The 2013–14 curling season began in August 2013 and ended in May 2014.

The qualification event for the curling tournament at the 2014 Winter Olympics was held from December 10 to 15, 2013 at the BLZ Arena in Füssen, Germany. The top two teams from the qualification event qualified their nations to participate in the Olympics. The qualification event was open to any nations that earned qualification points at the 2012 or 2013 World Curling Championships or participated at the 2011 World Curling Championships (the South Korea men's team and the Norway women's team).

The 2013 Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships was held from January 10 to 16 at the Toroko Curling Club in Tokoro, Kitami, Japan. In the men's tournament, China defeated Korea with a score of 7–3 to secure a spot at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships, while in the women's tournament, Japan defeated China with a score of 7–4 to secure a spot at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships.

The 2013 World Junior Curling Championships were held from February 28 to March 10 at the Ice Cube Curling Center in Sochi, Russia. Sochi is also scheduled to host the curling tournament at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The 2013 World Wheelchair Curling Championship was held from February 16 to 23 at the Sochi Olympic Curling Centre in Sochi, Russia. Canada won their third title after defeating Sweden in the final with a score of 4–3, becoming the first nation to win three world wheelchair curling titles.

The 2013 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 13 to 20 at the newly constructed Grant-Harvey Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The event was held in conjunction with the 2013 World Senior Curling Championships. This event marked the first time that Canada has hosted a World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship since its inception in 2008.

The 2013 European Curling Championships were held from November 22 to 30 at the Sørmarka Arena in Stavanger, Norway. Norway last hosted the European Curling Championships in 1990. The Group C competitions were held in October at the Tårnby Curling Club in Tårnby, Denmark.

The 2012–13 curling season began at the end of August 2012 and ended in April 2013.

The 2013 European Junior Curling Challenge was held from January 3 to 8 at the Curling Hall Roztyly in Prague, Czech Republic. Nations in the Europe zone that have not already qualified for the World Junior Curling Championships participated in the curling challenge. The top finishers of each tournament will advance to the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships in Sochi, Russia. In the men's tournament, Italy regained a spot in the World Junior Championships after a last place finish at last year's worlds with a win over Denmark. In the women's tournament, Denmark won a spot in the World Junior Championships with a win over Hungary.
