Abismo de pasión (English: Abyss of Passion) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Angelli Nesma Medina for Televisa. It is a remake of the 1996 telenovela Cañaveral de Pasiones by Caridad Bravo Adams. The telenovela aired on Canal de las Estrellas from January 23 to September 2, 2012

Amor Bravío (International Title: Valiant Love,) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carlos Moreno Laguillo for Televisa that aired from March 5, 2012 to October 21, 2012. It is based on De pura sangre and En los cuernos del amor, a new story by Martha Carrillo and Cristina García. In the United States the telenovela aired from August 13, 2012 to April 12, 2013.

Un refugio para el amor (English title: A Shelter For Love) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Ignacio Sada for Televisa. It aired on Canal de las Estrellas from February 6, 2012 to September 23, 2012 It is a remake of the Venezuelan telenovela La zulianita and the Mexican telenovela Morelia.

La que no podía amar (The Woman Who Couldn't Love) is a Mexican telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for Televisa and aired on Canal de las Estrellas from August 1, 2011 to March 18, 2012. Ximena Suárez wrote the script based on the original story by Delia Fiallo. The cast was headed by Jorge Salinas, José Ron and Ana Brenda Contreras. La que no podía amar won 2 awards in Premios TVyNovelas, for Best Lead Actor, and Best Supporting Actor. In the United States the telenovela aired on Univision from January 2, 2012 to August 10, 2012.

Una familia con suerte (A Fortunate Family) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Juan Osorio for Televisa in 2011. It is based on the Argentinean telenovela Los Roldán. Arath De La Torre, Mayrín Villanueva and Luz Elena González star as the main protagonists, while Sergio Sendel, Daniela Castro, Cecilia Galliano, María Rubio, Enrique Rocha and Patricia Reyes Spíndola star as the antagonists. Una familia con suerte won four awards at the 30th Premios TVyNovelas for Best Young Lead Actor, Best Male and Female Revelation, and Best Musical Theme.

Loosely based on the Mexican telenovela Alcanzar una estrella (To Reach a Star), the series follows aspiring singer-songwriter Loren Tate (Brittany Underwood), whose life changes forever when she crosses paths with her rock star idol Eddie Duran (Cody Longo). Hollywood Heights was executive produced by six-time Emmy Award-winner Jill Farren-Phelps, and co-executive produced by Hisham Abed and Josh Griffith, who also served as head writer.
