The show served as an inspiration for the popular Saturday Night Live skit "The Delicious Dish".

Radio 1's Dance Anthems is a radio show broadcast on BBC Radio 1 from 4pm to 7pm on Saturdays, and on Radio 1 Dance from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday and 4pm to 7pm on Sundays. Westway was a radio soap opera broadcast twice a week on the BBC World Service from November 1997 to October 2005. It focused on life in and around the fictional Westway Health Centre in West London. It was named after the Westway, the main road route into London from the west.

Ontario Today is a Canadian talk radio program on CBC Radio One. The program is broadcast live from the studios of CBO-FM in the CBC Ottawa Broadcast Centre weekdays, and it is carried on all CBC Radio One transmitters in Ontario. The program generally consists of news reports for the first half-hour, followed by a half-hour call-in segment on various topics.
