The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is a public research university in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It was founded in 1887 as the Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese by the London Missionary Society and formally established as the University of Hong Kong in 1911. It is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong.

The United Services Recreation Club (USRC) (Chinese: 三軍會; 'three armed-forces club') is a club located on Gun Club Hill Barracks site at Gascoigne Road in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Originally it was a British colonial establishment but now is a property of the People's Liberation Army after they took over the barracks on 1 July 1997.

The Hong Kong National Grass Court Championships was a combined men's and women's grass court tennis tournament founded in 1911. also known as the Hong Kong Grass Court Tennis Championships. The championships were held at the Hong Cricket Club (HKCC), British Hong Kong from inception until 1974. It was then staged at the Craigengower Cricket Club (CCC) from 1975 to 1976 before it was discontinued.

Tung Wah Museum is a museum housed in the former Main Hall Building of Kwong Wah Hospital, located at 25 Waterloo Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Only this building was preserved when Kwong Wah Hospital was re-developed in 1958–1963. This building was built in 1911; it was classified as a Grade I historic building and in 2010, it was declared as a monument.

Located on 25 Waterloo Road, Kwong Wah Hospital is the main district general hospital was founded by the Tung Wah Group in 1911, and managed by the Hospital Authority since 1991. It provides a full range of medical services to the population of West Kowloon and Wong Tai Sin. It is Kowloon Central Cluster's major acute teaching hospital, and also a Neurosurgical and Antenatal Diagnosis referral centre. It has established a Community Based Geriatric Service, Respiratory Care Unit, Acute Stroke Unit, TWGHs BOCHK Diabetes Centre, Wong Wha San Renal Memorial Centre, and a Nuclear Medicine site. Kwong Wah Hospital is also a pioneer in Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine. TWGHs (Tung Wah Group of Hospitals) has established TWGHs Wilson T S Wang Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment Centre in Kwong Wah. The hospital has participated through joint consultation for designated diseases under protocols which developed by both Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine practitioners.
