St. Lawrence University is a private liberal arts college in the village of Canton in St. Lawrence County, New York. It has roughly 2,100 undergraduate and 100 graduate students.

Mount Zion Cemetery (c.–1967) is a historic African-American cemetery owned by the A.M.E. Zion Church of Kingston. The cemetery is on a 2.4-acre (0.97 ha) lot located at 190 South Wall Street in the city of Kingston. It is in the city's Fifth Ward, less than a mile south of the church.

Harris Beach Murtha is a law firm in the U.S. state of New York, initially founded in 1856, and originally named Ives & Harris. The firm has over 250 lawyers and has offices throughout New York, as well as in Newark, New Jersey and throughout New England. In 2004, it was reported as being "one of the largest law firms in upstate New York, and among the top 250 nationally".

The Chambers Street Ferry Terminal was the Erie Railroad's main ferry slip on Manhattan and the point of departure and embarkation for passengers in New York City. The terminal was one of several operated by ferry companies and railroads that lined the western shore of Manhattan during the 19th and 20th centuries. The Pavonia Ferry operated for over 100 years from the terminal, which was demolished about three years after the Erie Railroad stopped its ferry service to Chambers Street in December, 1958.

George Washington is an outdoor sculpture by Henry Kirke Brown (1814–1886), located in Union Square, Manhattan, in the United States. The bronze equestrian statue was dedicated in 1856 and is the oldest sculpture in the New York City Parks collection. It depicts Washington beginning his triumphant march of the Continental Army through Manhattan on Evacuation Day, November 25, 1783, soon after the British Army had departed New York City.

Haffen Brewery, later J&M Haffen Brewing Company, and incorporated as Haffen Brewing Company in 1900, operated in Bronx, New York from 1856 until 1917. Owned by Matthias Haffen, (1814–1891), who came to the United States from Bavaria in 1831, it was a "landmark" on old Melrose Avenue between 151st Street and 152nd Street. The Haffen Building, a seven-story Beaux-Arts architecture style office building by architect Michael J. Garvin was built for him in 1901 to 1902. He married Catherine (Hays) Haffen (1823–1888), an emigrant from Limerick, Ireland, in 1840. They had six children.

The former Trinity Episcopal Church is located on NY 23B in Claverack, New York, United States. It is a Shingle Style church building from the early 20th century.

Niagara County Courthouse and County Clerk's Office is a historic courthouse and county clerk's building located at Lockport in Niagara County, New York. The two buildings are located along Hawley Street, north and south of Niagara Street. The county clerk's building is a one-story, limestone office building constructed in 1856 in the Classical Revival style. The original section of the courthouse building was constructed in 1886 in the Second Empire style, with additions constructed in 1915-17 and 1955–58.

Congregation Baith Israel Anshei Emes (Hebrew: בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל אַנְשֵׁי אֱמֶת, 'House of Israel – People of Truth'), more commonly known as the Kane Street Synagogue, is an egalitarian Conservative synagogue at 236 Kane Street in the Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City, New York, United States. It is the oldest continuously operating synagogue in Brooklyn.

Niagara University (NU) is a private Catholic university in the Vincentian tradition in the census-designated place Niagara University, New York, within the town of Lewiston near Niagara Falls. It is run by the Congregation of the Mission and has approximately 3,300 undergraduate students in 50 academic programs. Approximately half of the students are residents while the other half commute from the surrounding area. The campus area was listed as a census-designated place in 2020 with a population of 940.
