    Yes, she was the author of the book on which the movie screenplay was based. It isn`t Elizabeth Taylor the actress< however. @MrsPalfreyatTheClaremont

    When the Rupert Friend character Ludo is working at his typewriter a copy of Elizabeth Taylor`s A View of the Harbour is on his desk.....especially interesting as she is the writer of the novel Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont. Has anyone else noticed this ? @MrsPalfreyatTheClaremont
