Atlanta-based TNT has lowered the boom on ‘Raising the Bar.’ After two seasons, the Steven Bochco legal drama is a goner.
The show opened huge on Sept. 1, 2008, with 7.7 million viewers. That was the biggest debut ever for a basic cable show.
But the drama would never get anywhere near those numbers again. In fact, near the end of its freshman season, it mostly drew 3 to 3.5 million viewers for each first-run episode. Still, that was good enough to merit a second season.
