Button keen to resolve his McLaren future with Magnussen a possible replacement for the world champion

Jenson Button wants his Formula One future to be resolved by the end of the month.

McLaren have an option to retain the 2009 world champion, who finished a lowly 14th in Sunday's Italian Grand Prix, for next season.

That clause is reported to expire this month, and Kevin Magnussen, who moved sideways after one year to accommodate the arrival Fernando Alonso, and Stoffel Vandoorne, the runaway GP2 leader - both of whom are members of McLaren's young driver academy - are under consideration.
