    Samuel Eto'o Fils (born 10 March 1981) is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Turkish club Antalyaspor, and formerly for the Cameroon national team. He is the most decorated African player of all time having won the African Player of the Year award a record four times: in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2010. He was third in the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2005.

    Laureano Bisan Etamé-Mayer (born 19 January 1977 in Kribi), commonly known as Lauren, is a retired Cameroonian footballer of Equatoguinean origin, who formerly played for the Cameroonian national team. As an Arsenal player he won several trophies and is known as one of the 'Invincibles'; a title given to the Arsenal squad in 2004, after they went the whole (2003–04) season undefeated and subsequently won the Premier League title. He also won an Olympic Gold Medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics with Cameroon. He also holds Spanish citizenship due to being raised in Spain.

    Joël Dieudonné Martin Epalle Newaka (born 20 February 1978) is a Cameroonian football player. He mainly plays as a right midfielder, but throughout his career he has also played as a Second Striker, more noticeably during his first spell at Iraklis. He was born in Matomb, Cameroon and played youth football in Cameroonian powerhouse Union Douala, the team for which he made his senior debut. After his spell in Cameroon, in 1998, he moved to Greece where he played football for several clubs including Ethnikos, Panachaiki, Aris, Panathinaikos and Iraklis in a time span of nine and a half years. Subsequently, in January 2007, he moved to Bundesliga outfit VfL Bochum where he played for three and a half years. After a brief stay at Azerbaijani club FK Baku, in January 2011 he returned to Greece to have a second spell at Iraklis. Epalle was Iraklis' top-scorer for the 2005–06 season. Started at the end of March 2012, he has made his first appearance and play for Sarawak FA alongside with his fellow Cameroon friend, Guy Bwele.

    Françoise Mbango Etone (born 14 April 1976 in Yaoundé) is a Cameroonian-born female track and field athlete. She has competed internationally for France since 2010. While competing for Cameroon, Etone was a gold medalist in the triple jump at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. She retained her title with an Olympic record distance of 15.39m at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
