Black Veil Brides are known for their use of black makeup, body paint, tight black studded clothing, and long hair, which were all inspired by Kiss' and Mötley Crüe's stage persona, as well as other 1980s glam metal acts.

Formed in 2006, the band was founded by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes after the disbandment of the group Before Today (formerly Early Times), which was formed out of the San Diego punk rock scene. Other members of the band include Jaime Preciado (bass) and Tony Perry (lead guitar). Pierce the Veil has released three studio albums and has continuously been inducted into several worldwide tours since the release of their debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic in 2007. The band released their second full-length studio album, titled Selfish Machines in 2010. Their third and latest album, Collide with the Sky, was released in 2012, and is their first album under the major record label Fearless Records. Featuring the hit first single "King for a Day", the album debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. The band's fourth studio album is set to be released in late 2015 through Fearless.

He is the drummer for the post-hardcore band Pierce the Veil alongside his older brother Vic Fuentes. Fuentes was the percussionist for the metal supergroup Isles & Glaciers. He has more recently began a hip hop solo project under the stage name MikeyWhiskeyHands in which he raps on instrumentals produced by Pierce the Veil's bassist Jaime Preciado. Fuentes signed to Velocity Records in March 2012.

Sisters Alexia Rodríguez (born 23 November 1987) and Anissa Rodríguez (born 27 January 1989), along with former vocalist Lindsey Vogt started the band in 2003. Lindsey Vogt departed the band in mid-2007 due to issues with management. Lindsey would go on to form a solo project known as "The Taro Sound", and eventually formed the band "The Attraction." After Lindsey's departure, Alexia assumed her position as lead vocalist as well as guitarist.

Formed in 2005, the band consists of Chris "Motionless" Cerulli (lead vocals), Ricky Horror (rhythm guitar), Devin "Ghost" Sola (bass), Ryan Sitkowski (lead guitar), Josh Balz (keyboards), and touring member Vinny Mauro (drums). The band has stated that their band name derived from the Eighteen Visions song "Motionless and White".     Chiodos (pronounced /ˈdz/ chee-OH-dohz) is an American post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan. Formed in 2001, the group was originally known as "The Chiodos Bros," the band's name was a tribute to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for the film Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Chiodos released their first full-length album, titled All's Well That Ends Well, on July 26, 2005. Their second album, Bone Palace Ballet, was released in North America on September 4, 2007 and debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Independent Albums. Warner Bros. Records released Bone Palace Ballet on January 26, 2009, as part of a new distribution deal in the UK. They released their third studio album, Illuminaudio in 2010, and it was the only studio album to feature Brandon Bolmer as lead vocalist and Tanner Wayne as drummer. The band released their fourth album, Devil on April 1, 2014, which marks the return of original vocalist Craig Owens and original drummer Derrick Frost.
